July Grocery & Food Expenses

Our July expenses for groceries was $240.00, and we are doing better with eating out. We spent around $85.00 this month for dining out. Much of this was meals on the go for the children at McDonald's. We order off the dollar menu and skip the drinks. We also had a few chinese take-out orders which amounted to under $20.00. The chinese meals last two days. We end up eating it for dinner, and then lunch the next day.

I've fallen off the rebate wagon. I just haven't needed anything recently. I've rebated so much that we are very stocked up with toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, face care, moisturizer, and other items.

June Grocery/Food Expenses

We spent close to $200.00 this month for groceries. We didn't do as well with limiting our dining out expenses. It was around $100.00.

Dh found a place to buy less expensive milk, so those costs will go down a little. He's buying it at the local convenience store near his employment for $2.69 a gallon.

May Grocery Expenses

We spent a little more this month: $220.00. Part of this was stocking up on canned tomatoes at Big Lots, indulging in a few choice roasts(on sale), and restocking our staples(spices, salt, sugar, etc.) which ran out.
